7 July 2026: Biocytogen and Whitehawk Therapeutics enter global collaboration for bispecific antibody ADC development
Biocytogen and Whitehawk Therapeutics have entered a global collaboration to develop next-generation bispecific antibody-drug conjugates, combining Biocytogen’s RenLite bispecific antibody discovery platform with Whitehawk’s proprietary ADC linker-payload technologies to accelerate the development of differentiated oncology therapies
Under the agreement, Biocytogen will leverage its RenLite platform to generate fully human bispecific antibody candidates against selected tumor targets, while Whitehawk will evaluate and advance promising candidates into its proprietary BsADC development pipeline with worldwide rights
Biocytogen is eligible to receive upfront payments, development and commercial milestone payments, and tiered royalties on future product sales, while Whitehawk obtains options to exclusively license and advance selected bispecific ADC candidates worldwide
By integrating complementary bispecific antibody and ADC technologies, the partnership aims to generate BsADC candidates with improved targeting profiles and enhanced therapeutic potential, while supporting Whitehawk’s objective of advancing new ADC INDs over the next 12–24 months
Strategically, the collaboration expands Biocytogen’s application of its bispecific antibody platform into the ADC space while strengthening Whitehawk’s next-generation ADC pipeline, highlighting the growing industry focus on bispecific ADCs as a promising approach to improve tumor selectivity and address difficult-to-treat cancers
