13 July 2026: VERAXA Biotech and Ardigen collaborate to accelerate AI-enabled BiTAC pipeline development
VERAXA Biotech has entered an AI-enabled drug discovery collaboration with Ardigen to accelerate the development of its next-generation BiTAC pipeline, integrating artificial intelligence to optimize target selection for conditionally active T-cell engagers and antibody-drug conjugates
The collaboration will combine Ardigen’s expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational biology with VERAXA’s in-house AI capabilities to identify synergistic cancer target pairs, supporting the design of more selective and effective BiTAC therapeutics
The program is designed to address one of the key challenges in ADC and TCE development-on-target, off-tumor toxicity-by leveraging VERAXA’s proprietary BiTAC platform, which uses an “AND-gate” mechanism requiring dual-target co-expression on tumor cells to improve tumor selectivity and potentially expand the therapeutic window
VERAXA is applying the collaboration across its growing BiTAC portfolio, which includes both bispecific T-cell engagers and bispecific ADCs, with the AI platform expected to strengthen target discovery and candidate prioritization for future oncology programs
Strategically, the collaboration reinforces VERAXA’s AI-driven precision oncology strategy, strengthens its next-generation bispecific ADC and TCE discovery capabilities, and highlights the growing integration of artificial intelligence into the development of conditionally activated antibody-based therapeutics
