19 October2026: Hansoh Pharma announces strategic collaboration and license agreement with Roche to advance novel ADC portfolio
Hansoh Pharma announced a strategic collaboration and licensing agreement with Roche to advance a broad portfolio of novel antibody-drug conjugates, comprising two preclinical Hansoh ADC programs and multiple additional ADC programs based on Roche-proposed targets using Hansoh’s proprietary ADC technology platform
Under the agreement, Hansoh will receive US$400 million upfront, a US$110 million first-anniversary payment and potentially more than US$15 billion in development, regulatory and commercial milestones, plus tiered royalties on future product sales. Hansoh will lead early development through global phase 1a trials, after which Roche will lead worldwide development and commercialization outside Greater China
The collaboration aims to accelerate the development of next-generation ADCs across multiple cancer types, addressing continued demand for targeted therapies with improved efficacy and tolerability in difficult-to-treat cancers
The agreement combines Hansoh’s proprietary ADC technology platform and early-stage development capabilities with Roche’s global clinical development and commercialization expertise. The targets, antibodies, linker–payload combinations and individual indications for the new programs have not been disclosed
Strategically, the agreement reinforces Roche’s commitment to expanding its next-generation ADC pipeline through external innovation while validating Hansoh’s ADC technology platform as a partner for global drug development. The substantial potential deal value and expanded collaboration highlight continued pharmaceutical industry investment in differentiated ADC portfolios to address unmet needs across multiple cancer types
