09 June 2026: AmMax Bio licenses antibody-drug conjugate technology for Hematological cancers from Lonza
AmMax Bio has entered into a licensing agreement with Lonza to access its clinically validated antibody-drug conjugate technologies for the development of novel therapies targeting hematological malignancies, expanding the company’s capabilities in next-generation ADC development
The agreement provides AmMax with access to Lonza’s proprietary ADC platform technologies, enabling the company to leverage established conjugation, linker, and payload innovations to support the advancement of its oncology pipeline and future hematology-focused programs
The collaboration aligns with AmMax’s strategy of developing first- and best-in-class ADCs for cancers with significant unmet medical need, complementing its lead ADC program AMB-104, a CSF1R-targeted ADC currently being developed for acute myeloid leukemia
By integrating Lonza’s ADC technologies, AmMax aims to accelerate the discovery and development of differentiated hematologic cancer therapies while leveraging proven platform components to potentially improve development efficiency and reduce technical risk
Strategically, the licensing agreement strengthens AmMax’s position in the rapidly evolving hematologic oncology ADC landscape, providing access to validated ADC technologies that can support pipeline expansion while reinforcing the growing importance of platform-based partnerships in accelerating next-generation ADC innovation
