22 September 2026: BoomRay enters exclusive global license agreement with Novartis for a novel radioligand therapy asset
- BoomRay announced an exclusive global license agreement with Novartis for a novel preclinical radioligand therapy asset, strengthening Novartis’ radioligand pipeline through external innovation
- Under the agreement, BoomRay is eligible to receive up to US$900 million, comprising an upfront payment and development, regulatory and sales milestones, in addition to royalties on future global net sales
- The collaboration reflects the growing focus on RLTs as a precision-oncology modality, with the parties aiming to advance a novel radiopharmaceutical toward patients worldwide while addressing unmet needs in oncology
- Strategically, the deal validates BoomRay’s RLT discovery and development capabilities while giving Novartis access to an external preclinical asset; the agreement further expands Novartis’ radioligand portfolio and reinforces the company’s strategy of combining internal R&D with external innovation
