28 August 2026: DualityBio enters global collaboration with Roche to develop next-generation ADCs using the DUPAC novel-payload platform
DualityBio announced a global collaboration and license agreement with Roche to develop next-generation ADCs using its proprietary DUPAC novel-payload platform, with Roche assuming further clinical development and global commercialization of the collaboration programs
Under the agreement, DualityBio will discover and conduct early global clinical development of ADCs against Roche-defined oncology targets, while Roche will receive exclusive worldwide rights and take over development and commercialization after phase 1
The collaboration addresses a growing unmet need in patients whose tumors are resistant or refractory to topoisomerase inhibitor-based ADCs, as this payload class moves into earlier lines of treatment and expands the population exposed to potential payload resistance
DUPAC is DualityBio’s proprietary ADC platform comprising multiple novel payloads with distinct mechanisms of action, paired with optimized linker technologies designed for systemic stability, tumor-specific release, high potency and bystander activity in heterogeneous solid tumors
Strategically, the agreement strengthens DualityBio’s global ADC partnership portfolio, providing a US$45 million upfront payment, more than US$1 billion in potential development, regulatory and commercial milestones, and tiered royalties while leveraging Roche’s global oncology development and commercialization capabilities
