03 September 2026: HUTCHMED announces licensing agreement with GSK for KRAS-EGFR antibody conjugate cancer therapy

HUTCHMED announced an exclusive licensing agreement with GSK for HMPL-A830, a first-in-class KRAS-EGFR antibody-targeted therapy conjugate, with GSK obtaining global rights to develop and commercialize the program
Under the agreement, HUTCHMED will receive an upfront payment of US$80 million, with potential development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments of up to approximately US$1.5 billion, plus tiered royalties on net sales
The collaboration addresses a major unmet need in KRAS-driven cancers, where resistance and limited durability remain significant challenges with existing KRAS-targeted therapies, supporting the development of approaches that can simultaneously target KRAS signaling and tumor-associated EGFR
HMPL-A830 is a KRAS-EGFR antibody-targeted therapy conjugate designed to combine an anti-EGFR antibody with a proprietary KRAS-targeting small-molecule inhibitor payload, enabling antibody-directed delivery of the targeted therapy to EGFR-expressing tumor cells rather than using a conventional cytotoxic ADC payload
Strategically, the agreement validates HUTCHMED’s next-generation ATTC platform and expands its partnership with a global pharmaceutical leader, with HMPL-A830 expected to enter clinical development in the second half of 2026 and GSK assuming global development and commercialization responsibilities
