10 June 2025: Kelun-Biotech announces breakthrough therapy designation granted for Sacituzumab tirumotecan (Sac-TMT) in combination with Tagitanlimab in China for certain types of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

  • Sichuan Kelun-Biotech’s TROP2-directed ADC Sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT) combined with PD-L1 antibody Tagitanlimab has received Breakthrough Therapy Designation in China for first-line treatment of advanced/metastatic non-squamous NSCLC without actionable mutations
  • The designation was based on positive efficacy and safety data from the phase 2 OptiTROP-Lung01 trial
  • This marks the fifth BTD for sac-TMT, with prior ones covering multiple advanced breast and lung cancer indications
  • Latest clinical data were presented at the 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting in a poster session
