Oncomatryx Biopharma has secured €2.5 million in grant funding and a €10 million equity investment from the European Innovation Council (EIC) accelerator, being the only oncology-focused company selected among 40 winners from 959 applicants
The funding will support the expansion cohorts of its Phase I clinical trial for lead ADC candidate OMTX705, targeting fibroblast activation protein in difficult-to-treat tumors such as pancreatic, colorectal, and non-small cell lung cancer
OMTX705 has shown promising clinical results in 95 patients with immune-cold metastatic solid tumors, demonstrating excellent safety and long-lasting responses in FAP-positive patients, with no dose-limiting toxicity reported
