05 November2026: Telix Joins Thera4Care with TLX400-Tx to accelerate translation of next generation FAP-targeting theranostics
Telix joined Thera4Care, a European theranostics initiative involving 27 partners, to advance collaborative research and expand patient access to theranostic treatments
Telix’s FAP-targeting compound, DOTAGA.Glu.(FAPi)2, has been selected for a Phase 1 trial using terbium-161 (¹⁶¹Tb) in patients with FAP-expressing metastatic solid tumours, initially focusing on ovarian, pancreatic cancers and sarcomas
The ¹⁶¹Tb-labelled compound combines beta-particle and short-range Auger electron emissions, potentially enabling targeted treatment of micrometastatic disease while limiting damage to surrounding healthy tissue
The programme complements Telix’s TLX400-Tx, which uses the same FAP-targeting molecule labelled with lutetium-177. The collaboration will also explore other radionuclides, including scandium-44, copper-64 and copper-67
The collaboration provides Telix access to broader preclinical and clinical evidence while expanding its FAP-targeted radiopharmaceutical platform beyond lutetium-177 into additional radionuclide-based therapeutic approaches
